Philosophy

Children  

At Enchanted Forest Early Learning, we believe in providing opportunities for children to explore their natural world in a safe and supported environment. We strive to enable children to become leaders of their own learning through hands-on experiences that challenge their thinking and fill them with wonder and excitement. We aim to share an understanding of our changing world, its history and connection with our local culture and spirit of ‘Country’. We believe in the importance of children developing a sense of self, while knowing they are supported as they strengthen their resilience and ability to express themselves.

Families

We focus on building rich relationships with all members of our families as we recognise the important role families’ play in their child’s learning. We aim to share each child’s journey and experiences with families through meaningful conversations and communication. We encourage families to be actively involved in their children’s learning and value each family’s individual culture, needs and interests.  We will provide an environment where these beliefs will be fostered to support each family in feeling a ‘belonging’ to our little community.

Educators

Our educators are acknowledged and respected for their qualifications and their experience in Early Childhood Education. They are challenged and supported in their individual goals and professional growth as well as their development as part of our team. We value each Educator’s personal and professional values and support them in having a happy work/life balance as we strongly believe that this is important in maintaining a motivated and satisfied team of Educators. Our Educators share a passion for learning through play and understand the importance of working collaboratively with our families and the wider community. 

Community

The community plays an integral role in shaping our service and we aim to make connections, contribute to and support our local community. Through building these relationships we will assist our children, families and Educators to build on their knowledge of our community and to work together to create a better world. We will support children’s learning and appreciation for our environment through sustainable practices and respect for our environment, creating a love for the land and a true sense of belonging.
